Review: The Westin Brisbane's location is ideal, just a short walk to Queen Street Mall, making shopping very convenient. The rooms are spacious and tastefully finished. The pool area is a nice spot for relaxation, but staff engagement levels seem inconsistent, occasionally lacking that personal touch during busy periods. , rating: 8, date of stay: 2024-02-15}

I've got to say, the location was spot on! Everything I needed was just a quick stroll away. The customer service at reception was pretty stellar, especially the attentiveness shown during check-in. Oh, and I loved the comfy bed; it made crashing after a long day so much better!
My overall experience was quite disappointing. The food selection in the club room was super underwhelming and never replenished—definitely not worth the price. Plus, the lobby smelled overwhelmingly of perfume, which was really off-putting. To top it all off, I had to make repeated trips to reception for basic issues like the room phone not working and the AC struggling. Just way too much hassle!

the hotel was a handy base for enjoying a great area, really close to the various restaurants and queens street mall and botanic garden. it had luxury room with an exceptionally comfortable bed for great nights sleep. the service was exceptional, the breakfast was delicious. the location was marvellous - just 5 minutes' walk from a listed botanic garden.

The hotel's location is fantastic—walking distance to the riverside and nearby attractions like South Bank and the Queensland Museum. While the breakfast could have catered better to kids, we enjoyed exploring local cafes. The staff were generally friendly, though checking in felt a bit impersonal. a pleasant stay, albeit with some areas needing improvement.

A Nice Stay at the Westin Brisbane
The location is convenient—just two blocks away from Queen Street Mall, making it easy to explore the city during downtime. Our river view room on the 14th floor was both spacious and cozy, featuring a heavenly bed that made it difficult to leave in the morning. I particularly enjoyed the lounge access, where I could grab snacks and drinks whenever needed; the small breakfast offerings and evening canapés were a good touch.

I had a fantastic stay with spacious and comfy rooms, making it a great value for my money. The location was excellent, close to the mall and public transport, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast option could benefit from a larger variety of items.

Nice stay but housekeeping issues
The staff at the bar and restaurant were awesome, super friendly. Breakfast was a winner, and we enjoyed the pool too, although it could've been a tad warmer. Housekeeping was a letdown-couldn't even get enough towels and they took my husband's water bottle without replacing it. Really? Not cool for the price!

Check-in was frustrating; the staff seemed more interested in handing me a brochure than actually answering my questions. The wellness center closed at 7 PM, and I only found that out later.

No bar staff at the pool when it was cold!!! Housekeeping needs improvement, as they just flipped the bedlinen instead of changing it!!! Fixing leaking showers and upgrading the outdated TVs would be appreciated!!!

We enjoyed a lovely riverside stroll to Howard Smith Wharves, taking in the beautiful views. The restaurant staff were attentive, including my nephew, a good experience.
In my wife's opinion, the kids wished for more breakfast options.
